Plot Summary
Scott Lang, a skilled thief fresh out of prison, is recruited by Dr. Hank Pym to don the Ant-Man suit and pull off a heist that will save the world. Using his newfound ability to shrink in size while increasing in strength, Scott must embrace the hero within to stop Darren Cross from weaponizing the shrinking technology. Along the way, Scott learns the value of family, responsibility, and redemption.

Overview
Directed by Peyton Reed, Ant-Man injects humor and heart into the MCU with its unique heist storyline and smaller-scale action sequences. The film blends superhero tropes with comedy, showcasing a relatable and flawed hero in Scott Lang. It expands the MCU by introducing quantum technology and sets the stage for future explorations of the quantum realm.

Family Friendliness & Christian Perspective
Rated PG-13. The movie includes action violence and some language but emphasizes redemption, second chances, and the importance of family (Luke 15:11-32, Colossians 3:20). It encourages viewers to believe in personal transformation and using one’s gifts for good. Parents should consider content maturity but will find positive messages.
