Plot Summary:
"Chain of Command," a special edition of the Constar Chronicles, follows Captain Brousseau as he navigates the challenges of first command aboard the Dominion. Temporarily stationed at Star Port Orchard, Brousseau must choose between two exceptional candidates for first officer: Stephen Denson, a veteran officer nearing retirement, and Brice Anders, a valorous leader whose rank can be adjusted if necessary.

Brousseau consults with Denson regarding micro-fractures in the starboard plasma coil beds, learning they are within acceptable limits.
