Synopsis: After Superman's death, a looming alien threat led by the villain Steppenwolf puts Earth in grave danger. Overview: Justice League (2017) was meant to be the DCEU’s big team-up movie, but behind-the-scenes drama led to a rushed and uneven final product. After Zack Snyder stepped down mid-production, Joss Whedon took over and made significant changes. The result is a lighter, shorter film with moments of charm, but it feels disjointed and underdeveloped. Fans were divided, leading to the later release of Zack Snyder’s Justice League.

Family Friendliness: Compared to other DCEU films, this version is more family-friendly in tone. The violence is comic book–style (no blood), and humor is added to soften the darkness. It’s suitable for teens and older kids, though younger children might be bored or confused by the pacing and dialogue-heavy scenes.

Christian Perspective: Superman’s return carries a resurrection theme, with Batman expressing faith in something greater. The movie briefly touches on ideas like self-sacrifice, hope, and unity. But the spiritual undertones are diluted by the inconsistent storytelling. Still, there's enough about teamwork, redemption, and good triumphing over evil that believers can appreciate.
