Overview
Lower Decks is a zany animated take on Star Trek, focusing on the junior officers aboard the U.S.S. Cerritos—one of Starfleet’s less glamorous ships. The tone is irreverent but affectionate, full of Easter eggs for longtime fans. Think Rick and Morty meets TNG with a lot more heart than you’d expect. It’s hilarious, self-aware, and surprisingly respectful of canon while also poking fun at it.
