Overview
Star Trek: Prodigy is a great jumping-on point for kids or newcomers to Trek. It follows a group of alien teenagers who discover a long-lost Starfleet ship and are guided by a holographic Captain Janeway. They learn what it means to be part of a crew, make difficult choices, and aim to live by Starfleet values. While aimed at younger audiences, the writing is smart and layered, appealing to adults as well.

Family Friendliness
This is the most family-friendly Star Trek series yet. There’s no bad language or graphic content, and the themes emphasize cooperation, empathy, curiosity, and growth. A few action scenes might be intense for very small children, but overall, it’s a wholesome and inspiring show for ages 8 and up.

Christian Perspective
