Plot Summary:
"The Valhalla Stone – Retro Edition" follows a captain drawn into a mysterious inheritance and a dangerous diplomatic mission. The captain unexpectedly receives a rare substance called white lithium, accompanied by a warning that it could either empower the Federation or destroy it if misused. Soon after, the crew encounters a strange nebula made of magnetized particles and minerals their sensors cannot identify.

Ambassador Emmerich arrives to brief them on the true mission: a journey to Infinity, a moon orbiting two planets in a figure-eight pattern. Infinity is revealed to be the galaxy’s only known source of quad lithium crystals—a substance long believed to be a myth. These crystals could revolutionize Federation energy systems, but their value has sparked a brutal war between two worlds. The crew’s task is to help broker peace and negotiate a treaty for controlled trade.

When the ship is attacked, they discover their enemies’ shields cannot withstand the nebula, giving them a strategic advantage. By adapting their own shields, the crew is able to navigate through the anomaly safely. The story culminates in a cliffhanger as the captain encounters a quad lithium crystal firsthand, appearing to fall under its strange influence as chaos erupts.
