Plot Summary:
Darryl Walker is a socially awkward but brilliant inventor who idolizes superheroes. He lives with his brother Kevin in a city overrun by crime and corruption. When their grandmother is killed by mobsters tied to crooked politicians, Darryl channels his grief into action. Using his talent for makeshift gadgets and homemade armor, he reinvents himself as “Blankman,” a clumsy yet determined superhero. With Kevin reluctantly helping out as “Other Guy,” the pair bumble their way into taking on the mob and uncovering political corruption. Despite his childish quirks and slapstick mishaps, Blankman proves that even the unlikeliest person can rise up to fight injustice.

Critics Review:
At release, Blankman was widely criticized for juvenile humor, inconsistent tone, and a thin plot.
