Plot Summary:
In 2257, Caleb Channing’s father dies in a mining accident on the Moon. Because Caleb is under 18, he is slated to be sent to the planet Omega in his father’s place. Before he leaves, he and three friends—Dylan, Borney, and Marcus—and newcomer Addison hijack a rover to explore a mysterious glowing crater. There, Caleb uncovers emotional remnants of his parents. A meteor storm and a critical heart condition threaten their return. Ultimately, Caleb is relocated, but the friends stay connected through recorded messages that span his 75-year journey.
