Plot Summary:
Dreaming of adventure, Ernest P. Worrell enlists in the Army and is assigned to drive a tank. What begins as harmless bumbling quickly escalates when Ernest and his unit are sent into combat against a ruthless dictator in the Middle East. Through his usual slapstick misadventures, Ernest must somehow find the courage to protect his friends and save the day, proving once again that even the most unlikely hero can make a difference.
