Plot Summary:
Gloria Mundy (Goldie Hawn), a newly divorced San Francisco librarian, accepts a spontaneous invitation from a stranded motorist, Scotty. Unbeknownst to her, Scotty has hidden a roll of undeveloped film inside a cigarette pack. Gloria is soon chased by hit-men who want the film back. She meets Detective Tony Carlson (Chevy Chase), and the two become embroiled in a wild conspiracy involving an airport robbery, home invasion, double-crosses, and an assassination plot against the Pope during an opera. In a climactic rooftop chase and catwalk showdown, they race to stop the villains.
