Plot Summary:

Structural engineer John Garrity, his estranged wife Allison, and their young diabetic son Nathan are selected for emergency shelter after fragments of a comet begin striking Earth. What first appears to be a spectacular celestial event becomes an extinction-level crisis. As panic spreads, the family is separated, betrayed, and forced to cross dangerous territory while trying to reach evacuation flights rumored to be headed for bunkers in Greenland.
